Syrian Refugee Crisis | Mural Project
For my final Art Foundation Project, I chose to experiment with working on a larger scale and created several mural designs focusing on the Syrian Refugee Crisis. I created various silhouette illustrations of the Free Syrian Army and refugee women and children by solely using black Indian ink and water colour paints. I was able to create bold, minimalist and effective designs which I later edited and merged together using Photo shop. The final designs were printed out on a larger scale to be featured in an end of year exhibition show as well as used as a design for merchandise including
t-shirts and posters.
